About the Upper Patio
Upon completion of an extensive public process, the City Council approved a design for the Kitty Pozer Garden sitting next to Old Town Hall on the block bound by Main Street, University Drive, North Street and Old Lee Highway. The resulting approved project also included improvements to the East Street parking lot and the construction of the North Street pedestrian barrier.
Old Town Square sits adjacent to the historic Old Town Hall in the heart of Old Town Fairfax. This new addition to the City enhances the downtown area with its visual appeal and wonderful features, as well as plays host to many city events. Blending the old with the new, Old Town Square features some of the traditional loved landmarks of the downtown area such as Kitty Pozer Garden and the Fairfax Rotary clock, along with a new splash pad, cascade water feature, pergola, McCandlish Memorial Garden and much more.
