Fairfax High School Assault Arrest

CITY OF FAIRFAX — On March 5, 2026, at approximately 1:25 p.m., the City of Fairfax Police were alerted by Fairfax High School to the report of multiple assaults at Fairfax High School (3501 Lion Run).

An investigation revealed an adult male student assaulted numerous female juvenile victims.

On March 7, 2026, Israel Flores Ortiz, 18 of Fairfax, turned himself in to police custody. Flores Ortiz was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he was charged with nine counts of Assault and Battery (18.2-57).

After the arrest of Flores Ortiz, additional victims have come forward. After further investigation, four additional counts of Assault and Battery were obtained and served on Flores Ortiz on March 25, 2026.

Flores Ortiz is currently being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center without bond.
